STEEP Progress Monitoring and Data Management 

iSTEEP has a comprehensive range of benchmark assessments, progress monitoring assessments, as well as a powerful web-based system for interpreting the data and making decisions.

Benchmarking and Progress Monitoring Assessments:
  • Benchmark and progress monitoring assessments are available in many academic areas for grades K-12. All assessments are research based.  
  • Reading assessments include reading fluency, phonemic awareness and early literacy, reading comprehension.  Both computer assessment as well as paper and pencil assessment are available.  
  • Math assessments include math computation, math concepts and application, math focal points.

Data Management Tools:
  • A simple to use and understand web-based system is available to assist schools to interpret the assessment data and plan interventions for students.
  • This includes a web-based system specifically for Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention progress monitoring. The system creates graphs, aimlines and other essentials for tracking student progress. Indicates rate of progress per week. Tells teachers in plain English whether student is on track or not.
  • Data management of DIBELS™ Assessment Data. For districts that wish to translate DIBELS into student intervention, the data management system helps connect DIBELS data to intervention using a standard protocol process. 
  • Advanced users have sophisticated data aggregation tools available to help with the analyses needed to comply with NCLB and IDEA requirements, conduct norming, and understand the data at a deeper level.
  • Management of any other skill using conventional or district assigned standards for interpretation.
